Who do we serve?

So why exactly are you here?

Maybe you are:

  • an educator who is feeling isolated, gaslit, and frustrated in your work to champion students, and you’re searching for people who get you.

  • a classroom teacher who is overwhelmed with responsibilities and you just need resources that you can trust.

  • a teacher resource creator who is dying to create inclusive resources and want help getting it right in a judgment-free zone.

Did you know that Lunar New Year and Chinese New Year aren’t the same thing?

Not many people do!

And honestly, even if you were one of the few who knew that (brava, by the way), no one can be expected to be experts on every single culture under the sun. We aren’t godly and all knowing.

Then we are for you.

Our team of consultants can:

  • Provide you with tried and true resources that you can trust

  • Review your teacher resources through a trauma and culturally-informed lens so that they don’t unintentionally perpetuate harm

  • Curate images and clipart that are appropriate to include in your resources

  • Be the community you’ve been looking for… because equity work can be isolating

Connect with us however you need.

Why should you choose US?

The EdCoach Network is a growing multicultural network with people of so. many. different cultural backgrounds. We are connected with folks from various experiences, narratives, and communities. We specialize in supporting and partnering with marginalized groups, and work to uplift voices that have been oppressed by colonial systems of power.

Not to mention, many of us have had years of experience doing real diversity, equity, and inclusion work in education and beyond.

Some of us are teachers.

Some of us are counselors.

Some of us do inclusive curriculum consultation as part of our regular jobs

Some of us aren’t in the system at all, but are parents, friends, and family members who, like you, just want our kids and educators to have their lived experiences honored at school.

As people who hold a plethora of intersecting identities, this work is important to us. We live with the harm when negative stereotypes are perpetuated.

We know firsthand how important it is that educators such as yourself are empowered to provide student-centered, inclusive learning experiences that are backed by sound research and the lived experiences of real people.

We all need a community that gets it.

So let’s get to work.

How can we support you?

We promise we’ll get back to you within 24-48 hours, because your time is precious and our time is precious and we adore the fact that you took the time to write to us.
