MEET OUR FOUNDER
Every kid deserves to feel like they belong at school.
Every teacher does too.
I became a teacher because I passionately believe everyone deserves a space to thrive and be their best selves.
I’ve worked hard to provide inclusive, antiracist spaces of belonging for K-8 students and youth over the last 15+ years, and our team of K-12 educators have done this too for just as long… some even longer. Now, through EdCoach Network, we hope to do the same for you.
Since early 2022, in partnership with our community of consultants, I’ve successfully curated appropriate imagery and clipart for teacher resource creators, decolonized and rewrote historical non-fiction, and consulted on cultural texts to ensure that they reflect nuance and lived experiences.
It’s important, necessary work. I’m honored to do it alongside my community of extraordinary, compassionate educators.
